Course Description: This
is a computer drafting course in which the student will be using the CAD Key
Program. CADKEY is a powerful 3-D design and drawing tool. CADKEY’sstraight forward, flexible menu makes it
simple to produce intricate 3-D and 2-D layouts, and it has a built-in self
pace tutorial. Some of the engineering applications in which CADKEY is utilized
are: aerospace, automotive, consumer products, electronic packaging,
instrumentation, machine design, medical research, fabrication,
mold design, 3-D modeling and tool & die design. After learning how to use
the CADKEY program, you will be well on your way to being able to take
advantage of some of the most powerful computer aided design and manufacturing
software available.
