Course
Description: This is a
computer drafting course in which the student will be using the CADKEY Program
to continue developing their understanding of engineering design. CADKEY is a
powerful 3-D design and drawing tool. Some of the engineering applications in
which CADKEY is utilized are: aerospace, automotive, consumer products,
electronic packaging, instrumentation, machine design, medical research, fabrication, mold design, 3-D modeling and tool & die
design. Students will be further developing their understanding of drawing and design by completing a number of assigned
drawings and self-designs. Due to the small number of students in this course,
students are expected to work their way through the assigned work independently.
