Video Productions I is a hands-on course involving student use of camcorders, tripods, microphones, lighting equipment, and various editing tools. The course will include both group and individual projects, script writing, prop development, and extensive use of both the students’ imagination and problem solving skills. Each student is required to film one school-related video each quarter that will be aired on Channel 3 (South Portland’s public access channel).

Before being allowed to use any of the equipment in the class, each student will be required to have their parent sign an Equipment Use Permission Slip. The Video Lab is open at 6:45 am on White Days for students needing extra time to work on projects.
